My personal Mövenpick Resort El Quseir experiences

I was on a diving trip and spent a few days at the Mövenpick Resort El Quseir. Of the numerous hotels I've stayed in Egypt Was able to visit, this resort is clearly one of my highlights. The house is dignified and understated, architecturally really successful with the small bungalows that are in the style of a Nubian village - and you can really feel the Swiss hospitality that is evident everywhere.

The food was really problematic for me - it was so excellent that you really have to know when to stop. The international cuisine at the Orangery really appealed to me and definitely brings an upscale dining experience to the Red Sea. Many of the luxurious five-star hotels on the Red Sea try their hand at fine dining - the Mövenpick is one that really succeeds.

The fish was incredibly fresh, as you would expect when you're right on the Red Sea. The meat was also of excellent quality. The breakfast buffet was also very appealing, with a large selection of hot and cold dishes. I was really spoiled for choice.

A highlight of the hotel is the opportunity to go diving and snorkeling. The hotel boasts the most beautiful house reef in the Red Sea at El Quadim Bay. Let's just say: one of the most beautiful house reefs in the Red Sea, that should sum it up. In any case, once you're there, you don't have to go on any big diving trips. Beautiful, colorful corals and an incredible amount of fish await you on the house reef. It is not uncommon for larger sea creatures such as dolphins or even whale sharks to drop by - at least that's what employees of the diving school report.

If I had to find anything to criticize about the Mövenpick Resort El Quseir, it would be that the beach that lies between the hotel and the dive center is rather average. The water is often quite shallow due to the tides and there are some rocks. However, that's really the only negative point I could find during my stay. Overall I had a really good time at Mövenpick Resort El Quseir and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing holiday by the sea.
