I was fortunate to experience Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu as my first Maldives resort. And I have to say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I landed on the seaplane I was blown away by the sight of the island from the air. The colors of the sea were just amazing. And when I arrived on the island, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who presented me with a refreshing drink and a wreath of flowers. I immediately felt welcome and comfortable.

My Beach Villa was spacious and tastefully decorated. I had my own backyard with a hammock and direct access to the beach. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was semi-open and had a large bathtub and an outdoor shower. I loved showering under the stars. The food at the resort was excellent. I have tried all the restaurants and have never been disappointed. My favorite was the Cowrie Restaurant which offered a buffet with a wide variety of dishes. The food was always freshly prepared and delicious. The ambiance was relaxed and cozy. The staff was very attentive and accommodating.

The spa is one of my highlights

The spa was another highlight of my stay. I treated myself to a massage which totally relaxed me. The therapists were professional and friendly. The spa was clean and quiet. I felt like I was in another world. The leisure activities were varied and exciting. I snorkeled the house reef several times and saw lots of colorful fish and coral. I took a boat trip to a sandbar where I picnicked and swam. I visited a local island where I learned more about Maldivian culture. And I just enjoyed the time on the beach sunbathing and reading.
