The beach villas also have their own pool, but are located in the jungle a few meters from the beach. This ensures a lot of privacy. In my opinion, this is not a disadvantage, because the section of beach in front of the Beach Villas can be reached in seconds via a small private path.

In addition to numerous water sports such as diving, snorkeling, stand up paddling, windsurfing and sailing, there is also a well-equipped gym right above the lagoon and a tennis court. My Coco Bodu Hithi experiences

I'm an avid fan of the Maldives - and my personal Coco Bodu Hithi experience is very positive. The five-star resort island is just great. The Beach Villas are huge -- and I absolutely loved the jacuzzi in the middle of the living room and the bed that faces the private outdoor pool. The arrangement is really very nice and invites you to relax. Basically, you don't need to leave your villa at all. Of course, the Water Villas are even more blatant with their infinity pools and direct access to the lagoon.

You have to move a lot on Coco Bodu Hithi because the food in the restaurants is simply excellent. There is the main buffet restaurant and several other a la carte restaurants such as a sushi restaurant. Simply delicious and definitely one of my personal highlights on the island. I recommend half board or all inclusive, as the sea air makes you feel hungry. In the evening you can relax in one of the bars and look at the stars with a delicious drink in your hand.

Of course, water sports were at the top of the to-do list during my stay on the island. I went diving with the local diving school in the morning and at the in the afternoon Stand Up Paddling Board traveling in the lagoon. In the afternoon you can also do some snorkeling in the lagoon and watch turtles. The many activities made my trip very eventful.

The numerous strengths are offset by very few weaknesses: Coco Bodu Hithi is one of the older resort islands and could do with a little general overhaul - in some places a little fresh paint, in others a little new furnishings - in my opinion.

There's no need to get too deep: The Maldives resort island of Coco Bodu Hithi is one of the most beautiful resorts in the world and one of the most breathtaking accommodations I've stayed in so far. For this reason I can of course only warmly recommend a Maldives holiday on the island. The island is certainly not cheap, but it's worth it. A five-star island is something very special. The resort's numerous strengths far outweigh its weaknesses. Can't wait to hopefully visit the island again in the future.
