If you have a travel destination in mind, the question arises when you should travel there - i.e. when best time is. This decision often depends on vacation time at work, personal budget, desired climate and many other individual factors. For example, many people choose to travel to the tropics during the winter months to escape the cold weather at home.
However, you should note that peak tourism season is also particularly expensive in many tropical destinations. This applies in particular to flights, hotels and also to restaurant visits at the holiday destination. This means that you will have to expect higher costs during your holiday, but of course you can also find some bargains in peak season.

I always keep the best time to travel to my favorite travel destinations in mind - because when planning your trip it is incredibly important to know when and where is the best place to go on holiday. This basically applies to all travel destinations and types of travel. You don't want to go on a skiing holiday in the middle of summer and you don't want to fly to Egypt in the middle of summer when it's 50 degrees Celsius. Nor would we want to be in Thailand or the Maldives during the rainy season.

When is the best time for the Caribbean?
The best time to travel to the Caribbean islands for a sunny holiday is during the dry season, usually from November to April. During this time, the probability of rain is lowest and the water temperatures are perfect for swimming in paradise.
In which months is vacation cheap?
As a rule, vacations are cheaper outside of high season. The peak season usually falls in the summer months in Europe and in December to February in countries such as Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. If you are looking for a bargain, you should plan your trip for the low season, i.e. the period between high and low season.
