During our holiday in the PillerseeTal we were particularly impressed by one hiking area: the Steinplatte Waidring. The high plateau at up to 1869 meters is ideal for logging a lot of kilometers and going on a discovery tour. I always keep the best time to travel to my favorite travel destinations in mind - because when planning your trip it is incredibly important to know when and where is the best place to go on holiday. This basically applies to all travel destinations and types of travel. You don't want to go on a skiing holiday in the middle of summer and you don't want to fly to Egypt in the middle of summer when it's 50 degrees Celsius. Nor would we want to be in Thailand or the Maldives during the rainy season.
