with the Watch 3 (LTE) I had the problem again and again when running outdoors that I suddenly had outliers when running; the pulse of z. B. 140 jumped to 160 for a few seconds at the same load.
In Health, I always deleted the outliers after the run.
With the Forerunner 935 that I bought later, I never experienced such outliers, not even in the cold, rain, interval training, etc.
For me, the question is whether you also had this problem with the 3 and whether the 5 has now eliminated the outliers?
I've never had any runaways on indoor activities (treadmill, cross trainer).
