A dry bag is the perfect companion on the beach, on the SUP board or the boat, when strolling on vacation and actually everywhere where your belongings need to be transported safely and dry. My experiences with the Restube Drybag

When I read that the Restube drybag is made of the same material as the lifebuoy and the swimming buoy, I immediately realized that the drybag would have a different quality than conventional drybags, which are usually made of an inflexible and easily brittle PVC consist. My assumption was confirmed immediately after unpacking.

The drybags feel really good, are more flexible and significantly lighter than products made of tarpaulin. The color of the drybags is the typical Restube yellow-orange, which is also the color of the lifebuoys and the swimming buoy. Later in the year a version in blue is to appear – the color could be more pleasant, especially for walks on the beach and strolling on the beach promenade. In sports, on the other hand, the yellow tone is ideal comma because it is a wonderful way to draw attention to yourself.

Restube Dry Bag ideal for SUP

When doing sports – such as SUP – the dry bag is perfect. You can use the variant that best meets your needs. The large 20-liter version is perfect for a large drinking bottle, a medium-sized towel and flip-flops for shore trips in between, which I always have with me on the board.

If you only take your wallet, smartphone and keys with you, the small 5 liter version is sufficient. In between is the 10-liter dry bag, which is suitable for anyone who carries a moderate amount of luggage when stand-up paddling, kayaking or sailing. The small 5-liter version with the carrying strap is the best choice for strolling. It even replaces small shoulder bags or shoulder bags - and is a real eye-catcher thanks to its color.

Strengths and weaknesses in the Restube Drybag test

The Restube Drybags impress across the board with their well thought-out features and high quality. Many strengths are offset by only minimal weaknesses - the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. My conclusion

I am very satisfied with all of my Restube products. I have been using a life buoy from the manufacturer since 2016 and have since bought and tested various gadgets from the provider. I took the dry bag with me in Croatia and Egypt and am really impressed with its use.

It feels particularly high quality and is made of the same material that the life buoys are made of. I used the bags in a variety of ways while on vacation - hiking, on the beach and even as a buoyancy aid. I found the versatility of the product particularly pleasant.
