It has a lot of space for productivity, can group several windows next to each other and I felt a bit more overview. In other words: I need a lot of space when working. At least that has been my point of view so far. And then the MacBook Air M2 fluttered into my house in the beautiful shade of midnight (i.e. the darkest blue). And it only took me a few minutes with the device before I realized I might be on the wrong track.

The weight difference to the MacBook Pro is striking

Especially since I work a lot on the go and carry the large, comparatively heavy notebook around with me. The weight difference feels striking when you lift both devices in direct comparison. While you carry the large notebook with both hands, two fingers are sufficient for the MacBook Air.

Set up in minutes

I transferred my backup from the MacBook Pro to the MacBook Air - and it worked in a few minutes. The desktop of both devices stored in iCloud synchronizes in real time.
