A vacation in Germany is a good opportunity to get to know the beauty and diversity of the country. Many holidaymakers are skeptical as to whether a holiday in Germany can really be as beautiful and varied as a holiday on a tropical island. I admit that I often prefer to travel far away to tropical dream destinations like Southeast Asia or discover the Seychelles. That's why my vacation experiences in Germany are limited. But I wouldn't be writing this post if I didn't plan to change that.

Here holidaymakers can experience breathtaking landscapes, wonderful views and exciting activities such as skiing and hiking.

But there is also a lot to discover away from the coasts and the Alps. The Moselle region in western Germany, for example, is a beautiful travel destination known for its vineyards, charming villages and historic castles.
